Who owns land or country? Hubris rules, ordinary folk are manipulated, fooled and abused, even killed. Revered technologies are being replaced, undermining power and wealth. One religion feels threatened by different ways of worship. Can people wander free over that which nature bequeathed or must they obey or move on and starve. Weak folk like to make others seem weaker. "I may be poor and weak but look at you." Kindness peaks out, tries to direct events. The fates decide. History is written by those who survive the longest.
